Taste of Home

Taste of Home is a project co-created by artist Cynthia Cao, San Jose's Creative Ambassador, and Chopsticks Alley Art in 2021-2022 to engage San Jose communities in printmaking activities to share food stories and memories. It also brings attention to the lack of cultural diversity in food donations and pantries while highlighting food scarcity issues facing college students today. By sharing these unique stories, we hope to inspire change in food donation habits and broaden our understanding of the local community.
